Was in my legal ethics class today and the entire class is about the ethics of roleplaying and adopting particular underlying epistemologies. The entire class was about whether roleyplaying causes you to "drink the kool-aid" and become unethical advocates (e.g. do prosecutors start to see everyone as a crook? do public defenders get off on getting bad people off? etc).
And all I could think about was how many times I had this debate in college.
So if you ever needed reminder 134819438298 that debate matters, it's literally a central concern at the highest levels of law.
