  1. Hello all! I need a valid login to get onto lexisnexis to finish a research project, my school is no longer allowing me to use the login they gave me. I need to find a lemon law case to do a case brief on. Can anyone help me find a valid login or a case?
  2. Hello y'all, I am researching academic publications that study policy debate, and specifically I am looking for any sort of data/research/empirics on marginalized group's participation/success in policy debate (eg. my ideal article would be a somewhat recent survey of the structural trends preventing lower income/disabled/black/queer/female from the same kind of participation/success affluent white males enjoy in the activity with data and context on that situation) that I can use for evidence. In fact, it doesn't necessarily have to be a peer reviewed source, but then it ought to come from a qualified source. I noticed that community familiar Dr. Shanara Reid-Brinkley has been published in a journal called Argumentation and Advocacy by the American Forensics Association, which does contain some useful articles, but are either a.) not in the context of competitive debate or b.) decades old and not relevant to the changing culture of debate. Also note that my argument is less interested in explicit theory (eg. Wilderson/Black Ontology applied to Debate) and more interested in actual data/experience. I apologize if this question has already been properly addressed on Cross-x, however I could not find it. Best and appreciate the help, Lolwut5

  4. Hi, my friends and I are doing some debate work over the summer and we found out about an arg another team from our district plans to run this season. These pussys are too stupid to learn how to spread, so next year they're gonna make a 'speed bad' kritik. My team and I know about the benefits of spreading (it improves memory, helps you think faster etc) but I've had a hard time finding any articles or studies to back me up. I don't need any completed evidence, but can someone point me to some sources that show the benefits of spreading? My coach told me about some studies last year but I forgot to ask for them. Thanks! --Manny
  5. I’m going into my second year of debate, and I want to learn about what sources to use when I’m researching. Do you use regular google or google scholar? I was also wondering about think tanks. When should I use them over google, and what are some good ones, because I know a lot of them are politically sponsored? Also, it would be helpful if someone could tell me where is best to look for certain arguments. I will list them down below. 1.) Impacts and impact defense 2.) uniqueness 3.) politics da stuff 4.) t interpretations A.) I know that some t args are from court cases. Eg: T cooch. Where would I find court stuff that I can use for t interpretations? 5.) kritik stuff 6.) and aff stuff Thank you.
