Hey I'm not really into performance nor do I really pursue it as a very competitive debate experience, but I do want to try and have the experience of running one even if its just in a mock. My main motivation is to run this against a couple of ppl on our squad that don't really flow and get lazy when cutting evidence, especially before state tournaments. I want to freak them out and scare them straight while having a little fun in the process. My idea for the performance would be that I would either create large cards in big text that would say what the card tags and authors are, or learn sign language or something in order to show how our team is making debate accessible to everyone. I usually read affs centered on identity politics, and am trying to prep answers to Crip Poetics/Ableism but am not sure what kinds of arguements are effective. The only concrete answer I have is 1 card that warrants a perm (doing the advocacy in the mindset of the alt), but it isn't the best of cards/args College Prep is one I've noticed, but there are definitely more teams reading this kritik/performance http://hspolicy.debatecoaches.org/College+Prep/Harper-Sessions+Neg Cards would be good too, or just args

I'm a mutiple disabled autistic college debater that runs ableism arguments and I would like to help the high school community try to understand and get the word out about Ableism kritiks However, this doesn't mean I will be helping with any A2s to ableism, I honestly don't think there are any decent ones besides politics good which is silly and they are speaking for others which I find true. If you need help PM me and I will see what I can do I do not have any files I'm giving out so please save you time and don't ask

I was looking for some evidence that argues that nuclear weapons are ableist/disablist. If anyone can point me to some literature to find this it'd be appreciated.

I've been getting some evidence in preparation of ableism kritiks and I was wondering what the best route is to not create a rhetoric link considering there's links such as the use of "people with disabilities". I was considering using "victims of ableism" however I'm skeptical about this because it portraits them as always vulnerable. Any suggestions?
