  1. Hello folks Could someone explain to me the three pillars on Anti-blackness-gratuitous violence, general dishonored, and natal alienation, and how they play a role in a debate round. I get how these things contribute to black people as socially dead, but why do a policy teams have to win ontology to win, especially if you are going for FW how does ontology implicate that flow. Also what are some answers to why social death outweighs biological death. Thank you
  2. Hello folks My main strategy against K affs are FW, and I know a good TVA can really go a long way in the round. I know open border and families are generic TVAs for most Kaffs but are there any more innovative and more spcific TVAs ideas out there. Specifically, I am looking for TVAs for ontological terror, Set Col affs or just semiotic affs that have also ties to race. Thank you
  3. Hello folks, I live in a region where there are a lot of K teams and my main strategy is FW. I have a pretty complete FW file and know the basic fundamentals of going for FW. However, I don't know the structure of going FW, or like is there a checklist that I need to run through ie when do I give the TVA, or when I have two impacts like fairness and dogmatism, do I give two OVs separately or just one big OV?

How to answer generic K links

Hello folks, When I am running a policy aff, especially a soft left one, how do I answer generic Kritik links like the aff uses USFG or the aff is white saviorism or links from Antiblackness teams that we don't centre our discourse around black people . The way I have been doing in the past is either reading a bunch of state good cards or at least in this topic, say it's negative state action so we are taking power away from the state/ departure from the status quo. Are there any analytical responses or cards/ authors i can cut to answer them? Thanks

    Combining two Counterplans

I have ev that talk about these visas offer to chance for eventual citizenship. It doesn't specify which citizenship, fed or state, but common guess is that it's talking about federal government. Before I find a solvency advocate for both state visa and state citizenship, can I just spin these evs into saying they mean state citizenship as well?

    Combining two Counterplans

Hello folks, I am thinking of combining the State Citizenship CP made by HSS and the State Sponsored-VIsa CP cut by Mich. Basically my idea is that states should be allowed to establish their own citizenships while also sponsor their own visa that directly connects to the naturalization for their state citizenship. Side note the state citizenship visa offers a second option for immigrants who can't get Federal citizenship. My question is like is there any theory arguments on these type of CP and is it strategic to run the two CPs as one or run them separately? Also just some common strategies flaw with this CP Thank you

How to go for 8 minutes of FW in the 2NC

Hello folks, For K-aff my main strategy is FW and Cap. I just want to know how to structure an 8 minutes FW 2NC. Especially how I should impact out the FW. Which impact would be the best to go for? And some answers to generic answers? What some key moves that needed to make a good 2NC on FW? Thank you
  9. Hello everyone, I am thinking of running one-off psychoanalysis at my next tournament. I have some basic knowledge of psychoanalysis from Freud and Lacan. I am just transitioning myself towards high-theory now. Does anyone recommend any literature that I could read in regards to psychoanalysis, especially pertaining to race and identity. I would prefer articles that are in pdf forms so I could also share with my partner. Side note: SInce I am beginning to transition myself, I hope for something that's easier to digest and gradually build my knowledge up. Thank you
  10. Hello So as the title suggests, I run kritiks. I know that the alternative is always the weakest part of the kritik and often time is vague. I have been in rounds where the judge voted my team down for going for the kritik in the 2NR, but my mentor also told me to never kick the alt. So under what situation should I kick the alt and let's say go for the link turn? Thank you
