  1. Hey! It's currently 3:35 am and I had nothing to do but begin to prep for camp so I read this and I have a few thoughts if yall dont mind (also these are based off of the constructives for the most part) umm so Holden when you say "silence is agreement" thats really bad and please never say that again because honestly its very rape-esque. I know that you didnt know but just for future reference Also I agree with the judges the aff was super vague and theres only a certain amount that "we'll clarify" can get you, because of this there wasnt enough explaination in the 2ac and 1ar for me to feel like the aff isn't shifty The "reject the team not the arg" just in general is more of a stretch than the converse Aff wins the fourth arg but not because of the theory args their evidence is really compelling 6th off flows neg, aff didnt develop their argument other than a few sentences and then an rvi (and I enjoy rvi's, but the main crux of this one was time screw aand theres no time screw in a vdebate.... you have hours to get this stuff done. In a physical round I may have bought it more) Also I love the radiohead k....like even further than the whole "they dismissed it because its not weighted" arg (which is BRILLIANT). I really truly enjoyed reading your extensions in the 2nc and it made a ton of sense and made me thing "why havent I done this before???" and honestly i freaking love it ok Anyways good job guys, (if I were a judge) I would have end up voting neg just becuase I really feel like a lot of the aff arguments were good bases but needed to be expanded on a lot. I mostly wrote this reveiw so that I could gush about that k fuck i love it
  2. Yeah, I've been thinking about helping start a policy team there, its the kind of thing I would like doing lol. If that doesn't work I'll look into close schools like Northwestern and see if its even possible to "join" their team. Thanks guys!
  3. Hey guys so I've put in a lot of time, effort, and emotions into policy debate and I would love to continue doing it in college, but my ideal college right now, uchicago, only has a parli team. Does anyone know if theres any way for me to be able to compete policy while attending uchicago?
