  1. I meant ocean-specific lit. I know Nietzsche questions God's existence but how does it tie into the topic?
  2. I'm thinking about cutting an aff that says we should explore the ocean for evidence of God's existence. Whether or not evidence were found, it would put to rest many of the existence of debates and arguably reduce/end religious violence. Any ideas on where to start?
  3. Moses parting the Red Sea is definitely a weak excuse to run a Jewish Identity aff. If you have to look this hard for a link to the topic it's probably not a good argument to make.
  4. Anti-Oedipus isn't so bad. There's a lot of Deleuzian language but what else would you expect? It's a good book nonetheless.
  5. Start off simple, with a neolib or cap K. Once you get a bit better, lit, lit, and more lit. Just like lbchuck1 said, it's more important to know what you're talking about than to be super technical.
  6. I feel like if I cut Bataille they'll use him against me and link turn the K. It's a work in progress but I'm sure it can be done. It HAS been done.
  7. So my partner and I have started cutting a sec K, mostly from Dawkins. The only trouble we've had so far is finding specific links. We've been cutting state links (USFG is inherently religious, etc.) but I don't think very many judges would love to vote on that. Any suggestions?
  8. I'm looking for a kritik of debating on paper. Something about how using paper instead of a computer kills trees and is bad for biodiversity. Does it even exist? I'll be willing to trade some neolib or Kappeler stuff for it. Thanks in advance.
  9. Hey guys, Would I be allowed to give my 1AC from memory? If by some incredible feat I managed to memorize all 8 minutes, could I recite it off the top of my head and then give my opponents the evidence when I'm finished, or is there a rule against that? Also, is there a rule saying you MUST give your opponents your evidence or is that just common courtesy? Thanks.
