So my high school debate career ended, and I'll admit that doing it was the best decision I ever made in high school. I can't seem to pull myself away from debate. I keep watching rounds, going on cross-x, etc.
I would like to debate in college, but I have no idea if I'll have the time or ability to do so. I somewhat know what I'm doing on the technical side, and I can follow speed, but I haven't been able to speed up myself.
Also, I'm too late for scholarship money anyway and I don't know if I'll have the time to debate in college. It takes me a ton of time to get work done because I'm easily distracted and I'm not very good at finding cards. (Takes me a while to find evidence)
Also, my major is either accounting or economics at UT Dallas.
I think that, if I let go of debate, that I can get involved in a bunch of other activities, unlike in high school when all I did was debate.
So, should I debate or not?
