  1. If you asked me without me having a chance to look at this list, I'd probably come up with different movies...
  2. sooth sayer, i would like to say you're being trolled, but i'm not even sure...
  3. The above post doesn't preclude religion or a God (or Gods) of any sort. I read this argument and it seems ridiculous to be having on a Kierkegaard thread who was very religious but against the institutionalization of Danish Protestantism. So yes, Kierkegaard and Nietzsche both disliked a large monolithic entity of religion, but one was less religious than the other, and that is what we can agree on, right? Back to the Kierkegaard discussion proper, does he make any reference of what kind of actions allowed for a teleological suspension of the ethical? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it an elevation of the individual ethic over the universal ethic?
  4. I will add to the already overwhelming majority of votes for dropbox as well. Here's a link. https://www.dropbox.com/
  5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%B8ren_Kierkegaard http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/kierkegaard/ It's called the google-machine PS. Rebecca Black your location should be "Which seat should I take?"

  8. The only problem is that advantage assumes that the US isn't already helping out Egypt with the transfer to a democratic government, which it is, and heavily. Alright, I retract my earlier statement that it doesn't mean anything, but any evidence surrounding it isn't going to be a round winner, as it doesn't change US allies, or relations in the ME. The Military High Council, which is in charge, is extremely pro-U.S. If anything this probably strengthens our relationship with Egypt.
  9. Means nothing, besides better uniqueness for democracy spill-over on any democracy advantages (?). Not everything in the world is related to policy debate...
  10. Yeah the only problem of forcing teams in one direction of a neg strat is that they try to get out of it, usually by coming up with new and improved shit that's random. That's why having a mix of the warming impacts and nw impacts is the all around better strat because A.) You'll be the only team with an impact if either of you reads nw =/= end of humanity B.) Judges in my neck of the woods like diversity in argumentation, getting up to the podium with 5 impacts that look something like econ decline -> nw or war in the ME spills over (lol empirically denied) is going to make it too easy. The same can be said if you have 5 GW impacts. C.) It makes you sound more intelligent when you have multiple routes to major loss of life or extinction D.) allows you to be strategic with how you deploy your case. outweighing 4 off with 4 nw impacts or 4 gw impacts is going to be interesting if you can't cross apply case or have to answer impact defense.
