  1. I don't understand what the argument is for War powers over treaties. Treaties seems to have more diverse impact areas, more depth for the case debate, and doesn't have the executive order CP problem. Just my 2 cents.
  2. This are no wordings yet. The first vote is for a topic area, then the Topic Committee constructs a several wordings and that vote is in July.
  3. Transportation and electricity production are not "fantastic areas"? ... Do you have a reason for this that isn't an asinine assertion? I guarantee it isn't research or experience. Those two sectors alone make up nearly 70% of energy use. Would a "theoretically good" energy topic be limited to discussing residential sector use? And why exactly do you think domestic production is limited to transportation and electricity and not all encompassing of energy use? This isn't the carbon tax topic.
  4. Yea, that must have been who it was. I watched that round, thought they got screwed.
  5. I don't know if anyone can do a better job. It takes a really savvy person to write terrible econ impact cards while running a for profit debate evidence website and not have a single team question the legitimacy of the evidence or the author.
  6. this is awesome! Thanks! Sticky?
  7. bump on the results packet too
  8. that seems kinda silly... knowing what speaker points our judges gave us helps us improve.
  9. thanks for the update! Any one have top 20 speakers?
