  1. Hello Great Plains Debaters, My name is Andrew Potter and I am a former NPDA debater at William Jewell College and now I am an Admissions Counselor for Jewell. Historically, Jewell has experienced a wealth of success and is looking for hardworking debaters to continue the tradition of excellence. Last year the Jewell debate team won the overall sweepstakes at the NPDA National Tournament, earning its first ever team national championship having won an individual team championship at the 2007 NPTE National Tournament. There are a few opportunities this year for you to see collegiate parliamentary debate at Jewell so you can experience what a round looks like. William Jewell College is hosting NPDA/NPTE season opener September 19-21, and the debate season will end in Liberty, MO during the NPTE National Championship Tournament hosted by Jewell March 20-22. If you have questions about Jewell as a school or the Jewell debate team, message me on here or e-mail me at pottera AT william DOT jewell DOT edu OR If you have any other questions regarding the Jewell debate team you can reach our Director of Debate, Kevin Garner, at garnert AT william DOT jewell DOT edu or our Assistant Director of Debate, Kyle Dennis at dennisk AT william DOT jewell DOT edu Thank You! -Andrew Potter

    College Judging

Andrew Potter Policy - 4 years Graduated - Buhler High School William Jewell College in the KC Area Just PM me and I'll let you know
  5. People should jump on this opportunity. Mr. Bill is an amazing coach running an outstanding program. Plus you get to judge in a pretty competitive part of the state. I only wish I was living in the Wichita area so I could be hired for this position.
  6. WKU no longer does parli anymore. They dropped it this year.
  7. I think on purely moral grounds, this might be the worst game ever.
  8. That's the best KU shirt I've ever seen.
  9. I heard Big Lebowski was based off of a true story. The Dude is still abiding to this day.
  10. Mrs. Stucky, You have topped me again. I should know my place.
  11. How typical. I also here that Moundridge is going back to cutting cards the old fashioned way, clipping U.S. News and World Report.
  12. OK, so is anyone going to put up a comprehensive list?
  13. Was there any word on why mac dropped from debate?
  14. As an outsider, I would say that why would you not want to go to JDI this year? They freaking won NDT, does that not count for anything anymore?
