  1. This year's dates are Sunday July 13 to Saturday August 9, 2008. We anticipate that admission to the 2008 Zarefsky Juniors will again be highly competitive. Leading the group will be: Michael Antonucci, Debate Coach, Lexington High School Tristan Morales, Debate Coach, Northwestern University Jonathan Paul, Director of Debate, The Greenhill School John Warden, Senior Debater, Northwestern University.   2. Again this summer we anticipate that the top rising senior debaters will spend their summers in Evanston from Sunday July 13 to Saturday August 9, 2008. Our dates and staff have been set so that students desiring a 7 week camp experience can spend the first part of the summer in the Regents Lab at the University of California at Berkeley. The Zarefsky Seniors will be comprised of no more than 28 students. Admissions, as a result, will be highly competitive.   4. We anticipate making admissions decisions for our 2007 Zarefsky Summer Programs starting April 15. We have received far more applications than we have spots, especially for the junior and senior groups. If you intend to apply, but have not yet done so, please do so online ASAP.   5. Once admitted, you'll receive a form on which you can request roommates.
  6. Foster-Walker is getting a facelift this summer, but Slivka is MUCH better. There are singles AND doubles. ALL are air-conditioned. We will try to honor mutual roommate requests.

  15. Applications won't be reviewed until after the NDT, so plan on admissions decisions to come out around April 1. There are no set specifications for qualifying for financial aid. It is all relative to the pool of applicants. Send us a letter making your best case.
