  3. Jacob's last name is Benson. It is also Max's second appearance in the Missouri State final round in two years.
  4. Josh Dean and Taylor Nichols (Blue Valley) are in the top six speakers of the nation, and Andrew Carlson (Kapun) is in the top 14. Michael Windsor (Southeast - Cherokee) is in the finals of House.

  11. It will generally be out early-mid May. It has not been released yet, but I'm sure it will be soon. They divide the legislation into two different sets at nationals. Certain chambers will debate one packet and other chambers will debate another set. They provide the list of which districts will debate which set so you know which to write speeches for. Everybody debates the same set of legislation in semi-finals and finals, which is a completely different packet.

    I echo Jason's sentiments on it being a good tournament. It was very well run, and I commend the Buhler squad and Ms. Hagaman for putting on such a class act with poise during a tough time.
