Topic Research Resources

Recommended Posts

Post Good Journals, Databases, Think Tanks, Organizations etc. The goal is to maintain a list of places to begin research/argument construction. Helpful advice is encouraged, inane shit will be deleted. Keep it to one thread, any new ones will be merged and any preexisting ones will be grandfathered in. Enjoy.

The Cato Institute is a great libertarian think-tank in Washington, D.C. Obviously, because of its libertarian political affiliation, it will contain tons of awesome aff articles about balancing terrorism and civil liberties and the overall importance of civil liberties.

Read the topic paper! It offers like 12 things to read.. I'll also post 7-8 links I found of Civil Rights / Human Rights websites pertaining to the resolution if anyone wants to. Or you can just look up 'human rights' or 'civil rights' and it will come up with tons of websites. The Cato Institute was one of them, and it's been posted. I'm sure it will be valuable this year.

you're encouraged to post whatever links you feel are useful. A brief synopsis of the site (who it's run by, what one can find, why it's useful, etc) would also be helpful. Emphasis on reading and research is saddeningly anemic in this forum.
