1. Do you defend the hypothetical enactment of a topical plan?

we defend the resolution as a site/method of deconstruction.

2. How does deconstruction resolve settler colonialism any other areas that are not china?

our pan 14 evidence says that china anxieties spillover to other areas because the US sees itself as the only possible hegemon and defender or security in the world- this creates world imperialism- deconstruction of china anxieties thus spills over to other areas by making it such that the US excepts that it can't be the sole world hegemon- destroys their broad world imperialism

3.What does voting aff do?

voting aff deconstructs china anxieties that the US has by forcing them to engage with China- knocks on to solving US imperial violence and paternalism

4.What ghost of energy do you come to grips with?

we come to grips with historical/present US imperialism and deconstruct it

5.What is inauthentic ethics?

we need to decenter the subject (US) and address the other (China)- inauthentic ethics would essentially be trying to coopt the aff

6. What is justice?

justice is just behavior or treatment- we argue US imperialism is not just and do justice by attempting to fix it.

7. What do we do after deconstruction?

engage with China....?

8. Is the 1ac an act of deconstruction?

see above

how do we violate the shell when we defend the resolution?

You "defend" the resolution as a site of deconstruction. You dont mandate any passing of a plan and any plan that is passed is an effect of your plan not a mandate of it.

on your dogmatism offense- how is the aff shoddy generalizations?

The aff generalizes the site of china as the cite of all imperialist conquest and "only an affirmation of deconstruction can we resolve U.S. imperialism"

how is the aff not switch side debate?

You can read this on the neg as a kritik of the aff (i.e. basically the pan k). You read this on the neg and you read a topical plan is SSD.

K

what's the link?

Couple things and the 2nc/1nr will get more indepth on this.

1. Wrong starting point we need to address the settler colonialism that took place on what is now known as the United States before we can deconstruct any other notions of imperalism

2. Silence on the question on how settler colonialism constructed the imperalist tendencies against china

how are we silent on how colonialism was produced- also is this a link of omission?

You are silent on settler colonialism which is distinct--you make the claim that a deconstruction of the resolution resolves the united states problem and after that then we can "engage with China" we say thats bad because of the reasons I state above. You can look at like a link of omission but I would argue that it is a direct DA to your case.

what is decolonial pedagogy (what is the alt)

Mallot describes it as a "relearn our way of thinking" and a "radical social education" Fundamentally changing our educational structure that puts decolonial knowledge production at the forefront.

1. Who deconstructs?

USFG

2.How do you know Churchill isn't indigenous?

he's been widely discredited and this has been empirically proven

http://www.aimovement.org/moipr/churchill05.html

http://archive.frontpagemag.com/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=8305

3.What does the perm on T look like?

both interpretations can coexist with each other: some rounds aff must defend governmental policy action, in others they dont have to- there's no unique reason why this round has to be policy only

4.Does the U.S. still exist post deconstruction?

any remnants of us imperialism are gone

5. What is the warrant in Rich that says deconstruction is an example of the alt?

we dont claim its an example of the alt- rather that deconstruction is a method to doing the alt- essentially a way of implementing the alt- in this case decolonial pedagogy- by allowing people to come to grasps with the other and have authentic interactions with them

6.What is colonialism?

dictionary.com says  1. the control or governing influence of a nation over a dependent country, territory, or people.

2.
the system or policy by which a nation maintains or advocates suchcontrol or influence.
3.
the state or condition of being colonial.
4.
an idea, custom, or practice peculiar to a colony."
