DnG Books

Recommended Posts

So I am currently reading Anti-Oedipus to debate a lot of DnG next year. As of now I have decided to also read Capitalism and Schizophrenia and also A Thousand Plateaus. Do you know any other books that I should read or if i shouldn't read all of these. I'm also looking at efficiency because I need to get into some orientalism literature and into afropes probably.

Look into specific literature about next years topic concerning DnG - Usually what happens is that in those articles the authors themselves spend about 5-10 pages explaining the philosophy behind their theories (for example, Bifo explains Baudrillard in nearly all of the introductory chapters for his books); meaning that you'll be receiving much more simplified explanations of, for example, what assemblage theory means for queer theory. Try Google Scholar, it's really good. If you need access to databases; enroll in a college course this summer at a local community college, that should grant you access to most databases

Please also consider reading CPs, DAs, etc.

Ks by definition usually seem to clash less with affirmatives. It's good that you want to pursue critical theory but the skills gained from debating more specifically about China Policy will have much more useful implications outside of debate and will result in more ceompetitive debates.

Pursue things you're interested in, but certainly don't limit yourself.

Hope this helped.

Yeah sure whatever, but K's don't clash less. They make the affirmative defend their representations and foundations by which they are built. That is good because certain things that one of us take for granted aren't the same for others. Debating critically definitely makes you less ignorant of shit that happens in the real world.

and fiat isn't gonna help my pathetic ass lmao.
