General overview of what Zapatista alt for a Cap K would be.

I don't need pages and pages of explanation, just a brief one will do. If y'all could also explain what to say against it, that be really helpful.

The Zapatistas are a left anarchist indigenous mayan (cultural and religious) movement in southern Mexico. They declared 'war' on the Mexican government in 1994, and while they were quickly routed by the Mexican government, they've been 'winning the peace' to a large degree.  The movement is not really unified - one of the more well-known spokespeople in the developed world is Subcommandante Marcos, who is unusual in not being Mayan, and his personal spin is Marxist-inspired (also not typical).  So what exactly they mean will depend strongly on whose ideas they're referencing.

The movement has valid demands and incoherent flights of fancy.  For example, they complain about globalization because it invalidates traditional ways of life (re: subsistence farming - anyone who wants to eliminate poverty should applaud the invalidation of subsistence farming).  On the other hand, the Zapatista movement is strongly feminist in the best senses (and against the strongly patriarchal mexican cultural norms they're embedded in).  Which things your opponents focus on will be important.

The correct response is almost certainly that Mexico needs more rule of law and structural government reforms, and that the Zapatistas need more actual capitalism and less government intrusion.  Acemoglu and Robinson have written specifically about the problems in southern Mexico.  (Robinson gave a speech to the Mexican Senate on the issue).  And for anyone who wants to give it a Foucauldian spin, they trace the genealogy of the problem from colonial institutions to the present.

Yo you should look into this more as an alt to stuff like legalism Kritiks against affs who go like border survaillance - if you want i can probably explain that more

the issue with this type of alt you explain is perm - how it is competive trade off in comparison towards the affirmative.

What about the affirmative specfic instanee forces us to do have a Zaptista type insrugency

like read a card bout like infiltration of the man and the system being goood here

and idk case outweigh and cap inevitable?
