Who's Gonna Do Well Next Year?

Recommended Posts

Highland Park will be one of the best in Texas.

Agreed. Too bad Kinkaid RT and St Marks BM are both graduating. Also is Greenhill PS 2 juniors or a junior and a senior? (they will be the top 2 with Highland Park) Reagan will also be up there.

As for the nation, is Stratford A both seniors?

But we all know who the best in the nation at the high school level will be, CE Byrd GN duh.

PS: Sam if your reading this, please change the top of your wiki (The creepy photo of you just staring at me). I suggest changing it to something like St. Marks BM Bear theme.

WW has Rob, who's a senior and will graduate. SH (HS?) has Tyler who's also a senior and graduating. What team from Highland Park would be dominant?

Greenhill PS is a double senior team, so is Reagan PZ.

I'm betting that Liberal Arts & Science Academy HS is going to tear things up.

Seconded.  They bid at St. Mark's this year, unfortunately didn't get a chance to bid again.  Lots of competitive teams this year, but they're only juniors.

ill take a quick ride on the highland park bandwagon -- holmes' future partner (soph this year) outspoke him at colleyville where they just happened to get the bid, rolling on heidegger for some reasons...they'll be fine
additionally, st marks MJ will probz tear shit up (nikhil and charlie)
there will probably be 2-3 GBS teams and 2-3 GBN teams that go absolutely ham next year, judging by the state of their junior classes
Also, judging by their UIL state run, i think we all know San Angelo Central will be a major threat next year.

In my opinion, here are the teams that are going to do well next year
-note, the lists are in no particular order

THE LIST
GBN: Kim Hill, Sahar Merchant, Tommy Donovan, Ethan Matlin, Derek Choi, Natilie Knez, Danny Hensel, Jason Charus - any combination of these debators

CE Byrd GN

GBS MC (Mitchell will likely be partners with one of the C's of GBS CC)
Bronx Law AL
Stratford: Hemanth and partner
IC west: YM
Westminster: Eileen Li, Colin Basco, Dillon Hall, and a few others in any combination
Niles West PM
St.Marks: Nikil Jain and Aakash

ST.Marks Charlie Marshall and Jkim

CPS BG

Centennial: Micheal Koo and Gabe Koo
Bronx Science: AJ Meyer and Partner
Carrollton AR
Kinkaid: Ali Jamal and Partner
Berkley Prep: Danco and Divers (most likely, I think that Xu is a senior and graduates)
Hooch (chattahoochie) : Amar and Sujay (assuming Sujays partner graduates this year)
Dexter MS
Highland Park H? (Hampton and Vinaik)
Lexington: Arjun Krishnan and Katie Fraser
River Hill S? ( I know one of them graduates)
Greenhill Micheal Ming and Partner
Bishop Guerton DI

Honorable Mentions
Whitney Young: Jeron Dastrup and partner
Rowland Hall St.Marks AK
Wayzata NS or LN
Pine Crest LM
Pace DH
Notre Dame: Berger and partner
UC lab (Alice and partner, either adam fine or sam lieder)

Broad Predictions
Most team bids: GBN by a lot - the upcoming senior class is stacked
Lexington sends more than 1 team to the TOC, and has at least 3 very competitive teams
New Trier will send a team to the TOC
Brophy might send a team to the TOC next year

Keep in mind, all of these are predictions, they are not carved in stone. I apologize if I left any teams out

EDIT: in may (when this was originally posted) I did not have knowledge of who were going to be partners. Given that good teams need to be identified by team code, I have to list a last/first name.

b. If you feel like you have been left out of my opinion post, email me and I will put you on it.
