t-money 143 Report post Posted January 16, 2013 As for "big" schools the rankings would be: 1. (tie) Hutchinson - 16 1. (tie) Topeka High - 16 3. Blue Valley -
Old School 154 Report post Posted January 17, 2013 When did Blue Valley open? 1980 or so and they have 14 state championships. That is insane. Moundridge is pretty impressive feat- don't know if anybody touches that one.
STADB9 441 Report post Posted January 17, 2013 Blue Valley didn't win their first until 1992; they won 11 titles between 2000 and 2011. At least ten were under Riffer. We have no way of knowing for certain based on the available data, but it seems pretty likely that either he or Mark Stucky has won more state championships than any other coach in the history of the state.
