bgaston 13 Report post Posted October 19, 2012 The JW Patterson Invitational will be held at Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City, January 19-21, 2013. We will offer a varsity policy division, novice policy round robin, and a Lincoln-Douglas round robin. The tournament is once again a final bid in varsity policy to the tournament of champions at the University of Kentucky. Last year we had 49 teams in the varsity policy division from 8 states and the novice round robin had some of the best novice rounds of the season. We believe the tournament will be even more competitive this year. We aim to provide good hospitality, quality judging, and a great schedule. I am in the process of getting Kansas’s approval (which we got last year) and that should be final in a few weeks. bgaston 13 Report post Posted November 5, 2012 The JW Patterson has been officially sanctioned by the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association and should be legal for Kansas debaters who qualify for NFL Nationals to attend.
