2011 TOC

GBN beats Saint Marx? That is such Bullshit.

EDIT: not saying GBN is bad (obviously not) but come on. Miles is legit and Rishee is a top 2ac is the country.

GBN had beaten St Marks already twice this year going into the tournament. Michigan semis and MBA prelims

Wow, this is surprising. Beacon dropping and then St. Marks? I wouldn't be surprised if GBN were to beat Westminster. It obviously takes a lot of skill to beat St. Marks.

When is the final round going to start and is someone going to be filming it?

Not counting the Greenhill RR, which I don't have a packet for, these two teams debated 3 times this year:

St Marks Octas - Westminster (Neg) d. Lex on a 3-0 - Baker, Selesner, Abelkop

Harvard RR Round 4 - Lexington (Neg) d. Westminster - Parkinson

Harvard Round 2 - Westminster (Aff) d. Lex - Shore

Must've got it from here

http://wiki.debatecoaches.org/2010-2011+%E2%80%94+Berkeley+Prep+%28FL%29+%E2%80%94+Andrew+Goldfield+%26+Yunhan+Xu#Special%20Ops%20Affirmative-1AC%20-%20FFL%20State-Plan:

That aff isn't inherent. All of the literature is saying that the Special Ops forces won't leave until the last possible moment- December 31st 2011. Unfortunately I don't think Damien is packing those cards, nor would they want to go for inherency in semis of the TOC.

How legit is it to say you're "breaking a new aff" when it's already on someone else's wiki, with the same cards/tags/contention names/etc. ?

Add the NDCA prelims to that - Lex won on the Neg.

I heard someone say that the cards were updated, but I haven't had time to verify that. Not sure if that changes the game at all.
