Inherencyftw 41 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 I just cut a card with 17 alt causes? Is that overkill?
nathan_debate 745 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 You could read 3 to 5 in one speech...and read the rest in the block. 17 is ALOT, however.
Chaos 2587 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 The utility of the alt causes diminishes as they increase in number because if you spend an excessive amount of time reading them and if there are a lot of them the affirmative has a large incentive to either group them all or to concentrate their time elsewhere. Inherencyftw 41 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 I think this one works actually. There are 17 alt causes in the card but only 4 in the tag. The card is good because it specifically says at the end there is no one single cause, but a combination of multiple. I get through it in 21 seconds
