I don't know if you are serious or not, but the Cap K can be a plethora of different arguments.

Start here: http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/marx/

then here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitalism

then here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_capitalism

and then take the authors from common cap K evidence and read their shit.

Common authors include Marx, or Zizek? Or Deleuze and Guattari?

its a kritik of the capitalist system. zizek is probably the most common author, but marx would be a great author, and ive also seen d'souza run.

What is the difference between these authors if they all have a common criticism of capitalism?

Also why am I getting neg repped for asking for help?

there are acually 2 versions of the cap K. the more common one is that the aff somehow upholds the system of capital or the free market. the neg would then say that capitalism will kill us all for X reason. there are acually quite a few impacts for this K from vtl and ecosystem collapse. the alternative is usually to reject the aff as a way to resist capitalism. the other version is the total opposite, it says that cap is good and the aff does something to hurt capitalism. for the social services topic the cap good K links better becuase social services are inherently socialist and go against the free market.

A quick tip, run this along with an anarchy cp because some judges look down on cap k's without a real alternative like vote neg and rethink. But expect your cap k to be blocked out by other teams.

Because the "Anarchy CP" is any more legitimate or feasible than "Reject the affirmative, refusing all actions that support capitalism". That doesn't make a bit of sense - read cap bad as a critique, not a non-unique disad with a uniqueness counterplan. It's the culturally accepted norm of what to do when reading the cap k.

I think object fiat is a pretty big barrier to any revolution counterplan - on the flip side, an alternative is debated on the legitimacy of utopian fiat, which is a lot easier to dance out of the violation of. You can also win that refusing to participate in capitalism is a decision done by the population post-alternative; allowing there to actually be debate on if that would work or not.

Don't listen to this guy. If you need a cap file, one that is good for understanding the argument and not too excessively liberal, pm me.

Also, no one reads Marx, it's mainly Zizek, Mesazaros, Johnston, and Herod with various other ones scattered it - it's usually up to personal preference.

To be honest different degrees of lunacy, the way you treat the cap-k shouldn't vary much on account of authors, although feel free to research exactly why each of the authors is a lunatic if you want :)...

True. But out of those, mostly Berube. No warrant at all.

And Mead 04 is fairly correct.
