"For Leopard it appears that iAtkos is the easiest way.

Since 10.5.1 Nvidia kexts doesn't work you need to boot with -s option (single user mode) at boot and delete or move NVDAResman.kext in order to boot in the GUI."

bump.

has anybody had any success hacking a dell?

i got fed up and made the switch to ubuntu. i left two open partitions:

16gb for 10.5.6 (via iPC)

and 60 gb for 10.6.2

its my understanding shits a lot easier when you already have leopard installed (the disabler.kext, for example, is already taken care of?)

dell mini isnt powerful enough to run Logic Studio Pro 9 96khz @ 24 bit or to use as a pedal board for mainstage.

these are the reasons i want my core2duo to be running snow leopard.
