CHSchick 135 Report post Posted September 12, 2009 Columbus High is coming with teams in pretty much every event I believe. I'll be judging policy. So glad to be back (even though UGA last year was my return to debate tournament after a 1.5-2 year absence).
mfincher 12 Report post Posted September 12, 2009 (edited) We'd love to come, but it's sandwiched in between Wake Forest (accessible TOC tournament) and Chattahoochee (really close tournament that I can send lots of newbies to and not worry about hotel or bus costs--we aren't allowed to engage in fundraising). We enjoyed ourselves in 2007, but when Hooch moved theirs up to September, we went with the closer option. Maybe next year! jmiller 499 Report post Posted September 16, 2009 The field is quite small as of right now - only 8 varsity teams, 14 jv teams, 26 novice teams. Is Rosh Hashana hurting attendance? Budget cuts? Something else? Fayette may have a team in attendance - we originally had an off weekend between Wake & GDS - but I may coerce a team into coming down.
