Best LDer- Devin Kelsey from what I've heard Best Negative Position- Don't pick a winner Worst Negative Postion- Counterplans without text and Vagueness Case of the Year- GTMHRs (when not run by me) Worst Case of the Year- ZPE or that awful Neosho Hydropower case... Ultimate Kritik- What's a kritik? Counterplan of the Year- Lopez Best DA- Politics was fun Worst DA- Business Confidence, Oil, Spending, Indian Modeling and the French Nuclear Disad. Almost everything that my fellow Central sophomores and I ran at the first couple of tournaments, really. Best Card- Anything written by Helen Caldicott. Ever. EDIT: For the person who tried to neg rep me: this was a joke. It is for people like you that there should be a sarcasm arrow, brazenly informing you of things that normally fly over your head like planes over Dresden. Worst Card- Almost anything written by Makhijani. What's his deal? Fastest Debater- Thomas Andrews was the fastest I saw at non-camp Best Word Economy- Forrest (lol) Best Spreaders- I think Seth/Cody did it decently, but I really can't recall someone who did it devastatingly during the year Best Speakers- Seth and Forrest Most improved team- Jeff and Chey (who will also become great). Although Thomas also improved a ton. Team that will likely become great- TomTom and anyone who can breathe. Best adapters- Will and Forrest are pretty dandy at it Most likely to run Irony- Webb City? Marshfield might. Most likely to amaze you with a cool position- Marshfield had some pretty interesting positions, as did the Parkview novice (Ministry of Magic = yes) Most likely to take off shirt- Webb City. Specifically Preston. Or maybe Elijah... Neither would surprise me. Judge of the Year - Panel of the year - I'm sure it would be some panel I didn't get. I always got two good judges and then a random screwy one. Ballot of the year (text) - "Don't cross your legs" (Directed at my skirt-wearing partner) Best Run Tourney- I imagine Parkview went well? Really anything besides districts. Debate and IEs both were just silly. Worst Run Tourney- Pattonville wasn't smooth at all... Most qualified Judging pool Tourney- uhm...
