THodgman 179 Report post Posted December 11, 2008 (edited) Pembroke Hill's tournament is coming up soon and we're looking for judges. Some cool things about this tournament: 1. Debate is entirely on Saturday. 2. Policy will be divided into Champ and Open, ensuring good competition. 3. Laptop use is allowed for Champ policy. That includes evidence and flowing. 4. Peter Vale will be there. (CONFIRMED) 5. The "dirtiness" of judges will be reset after prelims, so you can judge champ policy throughout the entire day if you so choose. We'll do our best to ensure you get to judge the event and division you want; the level of competition and judging should be good, creating an awesome expereince for all. Also, I've heard that hospitality will be really sweet. The tournament's at our school: 5121 State Line Road. This is about 5 minutes away from UMKC, and not too far from either KU or KCKCC. Please message me here if you're interested in judging or have related concerns. Edited February 2, 2009 by THodgman
Mister Sulu 1319 Report post Posted December 11, 2008 I've already been in contact with Zac Shaiken. I originally thought I'd be able to judge, but it looks like I'll be in San Diego for a tournament of my own that weekend, which is unfortunate, because I was looking forward to this tournament.
THodgman 179 Report post Posted December 12, 2008 What's the judge pool looking like for Champ? Too early to tell, but we're already in contact with some good people who will hopefully be able to make it out.

FckTibet 75 Report post Posted December 12, 2008 Email me regardless, you are lucky I saw this because I am barely ever on here. Lucky - filling judge commitments. Unlucky - having Mike Slinkerd as a judge.

anonymoose 86 Report post Posted January 20, 2009 We created a wiki in the attempt to get a little disclosure action going on for this tournament. You are invited to join in on the process, you can, however, not do it, just remember, we'll all look down at you. Pembroke affs are posted there too. http://phscaselist.wikispaces.com/
