magicaltrevor 9 Report post Posted February 6, 2005 Even though it's obviously abusive, I was wondering if anyone could be nice and post some theory for me... You see I spent almost my entire 2NR on it and the judge seemed to treat it as a non-issue. If you could help me out with some suggestions for more official args than in round frontlines I'd loveit. Thanks

tears_for_fears 3 Report post Posted February 7, 2005 I have a block for it, but its not that good. 10 points mainly why aff advocacy shifts are real world. I hit a team that in the 2ac decided to "shift out of everything" to avoid all of our links, and even topicality. In the end, they shifted out of acting and using the UN. BiG_TyMeR_777 12 Report post Posted March 7, 2005 What types of advocacy shifts are we talking about here? In debate you must be able to shift somewhat to have an effective round but some shifts take it too far. Don't go for a thousand points why it's bad just do a couple of really sold ones and then make the aff. prove it's burden of proof as to why they are good and take it from there.
