Yeah, it's basically been dominance. I've always liked how I would talk to people and they would say that they hated when Meriah would be a tournament. I guess they didn't know how I felt cause she was on my squad! However, it's always been fun competing against her cause she's rediculously humble and gracious. I was really happy to see her win DI and Student of the Year against amazing competitors. The finals room was all seniors whose resumes consisted on 4 previous national qualifiers (Pohl 'Dridge, Forbes, Hall SC, and myself), 4 state finalists (same crew as before), and two state champions (Forbes 2006 4A and Hall 2007 5A). So, I was very honored to qualify and I send my congratulations to all of those who did as well. I can't wait until vegas!

Bender's qualification in Senate represents the first-ever NFL qualifier for the program at which I got my start. Congrats to Bender, Coach Rohleder, and the Knights.

I'm glad to see that the drop downs got to him, I thought he worked hard and deserved to go.

yeah, he's a good kid. He'll be really good at FX in the next couple of years if he keeps on working.

Really? My cousin claims that some girl placed at nationals at some point. I have no idea if that's true, she just said some girl placed in congress.

EDIT: My cousin went to Sacred Heart, just to clarify.

She might possibly be referring to Kristin Skolaut of Hutchinson Trinity, who was ninth at NFL nats three or four years ago.

Sacred Heart qualified several students to CFL Nationals during my term there, but we never got one to NFL. It's my understanding that Sacred Heart hadn't been an NFL member school at any point prior to my arrival in 1998.

Who is your cousin?
