The Board of Education has recently opened up a position for any person with a teaching certificate to be an assistant coach on the debate team. Unfortunately, the Board has also made a rule that we need to have an assistant coach in order to be allowed to go to tournaments. Experience is not necessary. Any person interested in learning about debate and willing to go to debate tournaments with our team can apply. The assistant coach will be paid a regular stipend and for judging at tournaments.
