KS National Warmup Tournament

Recommended Posts

Consider this my pre-disclosure:

I will be reading two different affs at this warm-up.

The first will be my Cyborgs - DADT Aff. Most people seem to have heard of it and its the same one we've been reading all year but if you need an outline, hit me up. Essentially my claim is that queer service is desirable because it allows us to recognize the falsity of the natural/unnatural distinction.

The second aff I'll be breaking is new. I will utilize Georges Bataille (and subsequent authors) to indicate that violence is not intrinsically bad but rather that these confrontations with violence allows for erotic transgression. I will probably defend something really violent in the plan.

Neither of these Affs have "Advantages" as such.

Eseentially, get your framework blocks ready, Kansas.

I may want to talk to you about this Bataille aff sometime.

During the lunch we will recognize every team in attendance and provide them with a plaque.

I'm looking forward to this. Should anyone else want to disclose, that'd be cool. If not, I guess that's cool too but I'll probably make fun of you online and/or in person.

Here's the flow you need for this.

1ac-2nr - its pretty much irrelevant

2ar - extend the fasching (in 93?) evidence that is spectacular on the poin that we must embrace the other or we meet the impending extinction. also extend the warrants from the 1ar that go dropped that say the military is the starting point for eliminating homophobia in society.
