We will allow up to four entries per school initially, and then allow additional entries. Varsity policy is a semi-finals TOC Bid. Standard mutual preference sheets will be available in this division. Novice/JV Policy. We will simultaneously host the novice/JV regional championships. 50 team maximum, 40 LDr maximum. Varsity LD. 40 contestant maximum. JW may allow a finals TOC bid if entries warrant Schedule: For both varsity and LD, all divisions Friday, March 2: Registration 12:30-2pm Round 1: 3pm (pairings at 2:15) Round 2: 5:30pm Dinner: 7:30. Housing: 8:15 pm Coaches dinner – 9:30 Saturday, March 3 7am pairings, 8am round 3 11am, round 4 2:30 pm, round 5 5:30 pm, round 6 8pm – doubles, if entries warrant. We will either clear all 4-2s or 16 teams. A final decision will be made an announced at the start of round 1 Sunday, March 4 Octo-finals Hotel/housing. We will house as many as we can with preference given to those coming the farthest. Available hotels: Peekskill Inn -- http://www.peekskillinn.com/ Best value for location/price Town Lyne -- Town Lyne Motel, Crompond Road, (914) 737-8202. Very close and cheap ($65), but not the nicest place Airports The closest airport is Newburgh, but Laguardia, JFK, and Newark are within driving distance (1:15-2 hours (Newark). Fees $40 school $80/varsity policy team, $60/jv & novice teams $40/varsity LDr, $35/novice & JV LDr. Fees include dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday Topics – March/April LD, March Public Forum Registration – registration will be through Joy of Tournaments by the end of December Hired judging -- $150/3 rounds of needed commitment Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
