I don't remember the exact results, but I know this Clearing teams Stuyvesant FM Stuyvesant something else Newark Science something NFA PZ Lakeland PS Lexington, two teams Cathedral Prep SS Sorry, don't remember exactly, way too tired. Semis was Lakeland vs. Bronx, Newark Science vs. NFA Finals was NFA aff vs. Bronx neg, Bronx picked up 3-2. JV - broke to semis - Weston and Otter Valley in finals, Otter Valley (neg) picked up 2-1. nolongerused 52 Report post Posted October 15, 2006 The 1NC consisted of normativity bad, militarism, Kato, and effects topicality. In the block, all that was said on Kato was "This proves why you vote on normativity - they concede the case turn on Kato." The 2AC block to normativity was really bad - after the cross-x of the 2NC, the affirmative finally realized that it essentially says "affirmative teams bad." In the 2NR they went for normativity, and the 2AR's only offense was "this critique is abusive." I really didn't want to pick up on normativity for any reason whatsoever, but I couldn't really vote for the affirmative either, so... Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
