    *Adaptation Turn - Price Cut

This file is a nuanced impact turn strategy vs warming advantages. The argument is simply that we are already past the tipping point and it's too late to stop the pace of climate change. The only thing we can really do to survive is adapt. This aff tradesoff with both focus and resources neccessary to prepare civilization for adaptation strategies. Reasons this strategy is particularly cool -

    a. zero risk the aff solves
    b. adaptation turns and solves their impacts while avoiding resource crunch
    c. it is perfectly compatible with other popular impact turns such as C02 fertilization

File has extensions through the negative block and is almost completed highlighted. Get it while it's hot.

    Nuclear Malthus

Nuclear malthus is the argument that a large, full scale, nuclear war would be good for the world. The argument is tricky because it gets to make smart uniqueness claims about the inevitability of nuclear war and human extinction which often obviate affirmative responses. Now is a great time for nuclear malthus! Recent NASA studies on limited nuclear war still lose to the same tricks as always, and teams are less prepared than ever to deal with a big-stick impact turn. This position also couples well with any number of critical positions.

The file is 130 pages long and contains blocks to every argument I know of. The file is ready to use out of the box.

    Hegemony Backfile Update

Hey everyone, as a policy-oriented debater, I've noticed a huge problem with heg debaters in the community. They. Are. Lazy. Most take the traditional stance of a single, monolithic concept of "hegemony" and assert that claim as if it solves everything when they read those recent cards. These are (usually) the same debaters who read offensive realism as a reason war is inevitable and argue that perception of US power solves. What? Perception solves structural incentives for aggression? Trouble is, nobody rises to beat down bad heg debaters anymore so they get away with a lot of crazy arguments. The solution? A whole new hegemony file that's ready for these silly "heg solves because Kagan/Brooks/Thayer/etc says so" debaters

Here's a comprehensive hegemony backfile featuring some of the most recent cards on the subject. Most of these cards are from 2011-2013 and are simply fantastic. The file includes both defensive and offensive arguments and is ideal for any level debater. This update/backfile also includes answers to the Brooks article and indicts for many common authors, such as Nye, Wohlforth, Brzezinski, etc. There are lots of cool tricks and mini-disads to read/extend in the block, so it's a must have even as a supplement for people who have better things to do than cut heg updates.

Yeah, I know, everyone has heg impact turns, what makes this one so special? Heg bad, multilateralism good, right? Not really, The main reason this file is different is that it includes a lot of differential analysis with regards to US dominance, primarily focused around offshore balancing, which is (in my opinion) one of the best transitions to read because it gets you out of a large part of heg good offense as well as disads to multilateralism, especially considering the fact that there aren't very good disadvantages to offshore balancing. Offshore balancing still allows for US dominance, but in a prescriptive context: instead of amassing the largest power differential imaginable, the US should focus on intelligence-gathering, naval power projection, and leaving countries to sort out some of their own problems with intervention only happening in the worst-case scenarios.

The heg resilient also takes a neat spin on the traditional argument. It's not the same "we have the biggest army, suck it" argument of the past. Rather, it's centered around the concept of relative decline, where the US loses military capability but retains influence. After all, what is hegemony? It's more than just having the bigger guns, it's about global perception and influence. This argument is great because it puts you in a position where you can read a lot of aff cards (Nye, etc) back at the affirmative.

Either way, as a supplement or if you want a new spin on an old argument, this file is a great buy. It's almost completely highlighted, and fully blocked out for the 2NC/1NR.

    Latin America Impact Core

    Hello,

This is a semi-comprehensive Latin America impact core. It's 142 pages long. Here's a break down of all its sections:

Section 1: Latin America Stability Impacts - This section contains terminal impacts to stability in the region generally, along with cards to defend escalation in specific hotspots such as Venezuela, Colombia and Cuba. I researched this part of the file this past season while cutting a Latin America instability impact to the Immigration politics disad.

Section 2: Latin America Impact Defense - This section contains frontlines and extensions to read against Latin America stability and Mexico collapse impacts. The cards are very quality and if deployed correctly can greatly mitigate these impacts.

Section 3: Latin America Relations Answers - This section contains frontlines and extensions to read against various relations scenarios pertaining to Latin America (Latin America generally, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico). The evidence here is a little bit dated because I researched it several years ago for the college Immigration topic, but it should nonetheless be a useful supplement to camp files released this year.

Sections 4 & 5: Mexico Relations Bad and Caribbean Relations Bad Impact Turns - This is another section which features somewhat dated evidence (researched for the college immigration topic) but it has some creative impact turns that be can be updated and deployed if wanted. These will be frequently read advantages on this year's high school topic so smart teams will want to have generic offense.

This file is a good deal at just $12 and should be a good supplement to camp files released covering the same impact area.

    Transportation Infrastructure Updates (Free)

UPDATE: For what it's worth, this file is now free.

If you're like I was in high school, your NFLs preparation didn't start until a few days before you planned to leave for Birmingham, and it mostly devolved into ranting about draconian disclosure norms and tournament procedure. Luckily for you, I have come around from my anti-capitalist leanings, and am willing to sell my card-cutting labor to you, so you can go back to screaming about what possible reasons a national debate organization could have for keeping you in the dark about the identities of your judges.

This file is over 100 pages of essential updates for the NFL tournament. All of it is from 2013 (about 50% from the last few weeks). I've already underlined a bunch of it. Almost everything is from high-quality sources like journal articles and think tanks. Oh, and it's all flawlessly formatted to meet the NFL's citation requirements (those are a thing, if you didn't already know). If you've seen my other files on evazon, you know that I have pretty high standards for evidence quality - this file is no exception. I've included the following:
Updates on key topic controversies - the stimulus debate has been shaken up by some new developments in the economic basis for austerity/'fiscal discipline', and your old cards will no longer cut it. I have new evidence on both sides of this issue, as well as some more obscure economic theory that, to my knowledge, haven't been read in high school this year (and is super compelling).
Case and DA updates - the NFLs is all about ethos and perception, and one way to start ahead in that area is to have super new evidence, because it makes your opponents look lazy and stupid in comparison. There's no better feeling than out-prepping an opponent on their own 1AC.
Impacts and impact defense - stop reading old impacts and impact answers! I throw up a little bit in my mouth every time I hear people reading cards about North Korea from before the Kim-Jong Un transition. Roughly 50% of this file is devoted to new and extremely good evidence on both sides of many common impacts, like the economy, East Asian conflict, and hegemony. These cards will be useful into next year, and will probably go largely missed by camps because they're not "topic specific" - meaning you'll get a lot from this file even if you aren't going to NFLs this year.

$8 is a drop in the bucket compared to the hundreds you're already spending on travel and hotel rooms - why not help me cover my rent while you're at it?

**Impact D Toolbox (Latin America)** Reduced Price

This is a comprehensive impact defense file. Although it is by no means exhaustive, it covers the classic big-stick terminal impacts people do serious damage with.

I have also focused on some common impacts people will be reading on next year's Latin America topic such as US/China regional influence, latin american stability, etc etc.

Why is this file a must-have?
Impact defense wins debates. A good impact defense file might just be one of the critical assets to your competitive success. If you can answer no other part of the case, you can atleast deny their terminal impact claims which is central to winning disadvantages and even kritik debates (i'm talking to you, lawless hippies).
Recency and quality - most of the cards are A+ and from the past 3 years - don't lose a close round on poor impact defense
Latin America - the topic specific cards are very solid and will give you an edge moving into the next season
Price/Volume - 6 dollars for over 60 pages of evidence you will use the rest of your debate career is a steal.

Pleas let me know if you have any questions!

    2013 Hegemony Updates

This file contains high-quality updates from 2013 on the hegemony debate, including:

    - A new terminal impact (hege solves war/prolif)

    - Sustainability both ways (including answers to offshore balancing)

    - Answers to common impact turns (China war, econ, terror)

    - Some A+ cards that decline is manageable/doesn't cause power vacuums

This file is completely underlined and highlighted and well worth the price, considering the debate community isn't likely to lose its fascination with US primacy any time soon (read: you can use this file for years to come).

    2013 Warming Updates

This is a relatively short file that contains some quick hits on the major issues related to climate change. All the cards are from 2013 and all but one is from March.

    Items include:

    - A 1AC quality card that warming is happening, caused by humans, and that now is key

    - Cards both ways on the study released earlier this month that volcano emissions are slowing the rate of warming

    - An answer to the classic "SO2 screw" (aerosol emissions prevent warming)

    - A new ice age link saying that CO2 prevents a new ice age, along with a famine impact to ice age

    - A slew of cards questioning the ideas that 1) warming is happening and 2) if it is happening, that CO2 is what is causing it

**Dedev Update + Nuke War Defense - Reduced Price**

This file is intended to be a de-development supplement (yes, there are ZERO camp cards/backfiles). It is mostly geared towards the uniqueness component of the debate which is critical to executing this particular impact turn strategy.

A number of benefits to having this supplement for your arsenal
Growth is the biggest adv on the topic – if you have nothing else to say, you can always impact turn
Control uniqueness – makes it impossible for them to win any of their offense – growth is going to collapse, only a question of whether we let it happen now to avoid ecological collapse and runaway warming
Strategery – Impact turns such as this one are incredibly strategic on the negative since you get the block to bury the affirmative with distinctions, comparisons, and evidence
Evidence quality – no evidence from blogs or idiots
Recency/New-ness – Includes evidence from the past 3 months *that has not been read* and cards you will *not find in any camp files*

As a bonus, also includes a few impact calc cards about nuclear war – use these to prove that your structural/environmental impacts outweigh the aff

    DeDev Answers

This file includes comprehensive answers to growth bad/dedev arguments. Everyone is reading econ advantages this year and lots of people are resorting to dedev as a generic negative strategy. My experience has taught me that when negative teams win these debates it is usually because 1) the neg has evidence on an issue and the aff does not, or 2) the aff reads crappy evidence. This file solves both of these problems - no Mead/Kerpen/Bearden/Cook evidence here. Every card in the file - including the extensions - are ones you won't be embarrassed to give to a judge when she/he is sorting out the inevitable card war. There are a ton of extensions in the file so you don't have to worry about getting out-carded. I also included a section of the file to answer the most common "tricks" that also contains some creative arguments for you to read that will give any neg team a headache.

Why should I buy this file when there are perfectly good camp files out there?

    1) This file includes evidence that a search of the high school and college caselists confirms have not been read in any debates yet. These cards are all from 2011 and 2012 and are cut from books.
    2) It is organized into a frontline and every argument has pre-written extensions.
    3) Every single card in the file is highlighted.

    Spark! - Limited Time Deal

    LIMITED TIME PRICE
This is my high school spark file (over 100 pages). Despite spark’s reputation this is a really awesome file, that I never actually got to read, so prepare to pop someone on it who thinks they can get away with just reading old backfile cards.
With this file you will be getting a) new scenarios the best new evidence c) blocked out answers to every warrant they will make. I think the quality of evidence will make judges think twice about writing it off as a silly argument, but your opponents might not be so lucky.

    The argument is simple
--The affirmative stops a nuclear war that would be small if it took place
--That nuclear war is a good thing
    1. It is the only way to solve otherwise inevitable warming
    2. It halts the development of Kinetic Weapons (which is ongoing). Those weapons are likely to cause extinction due to their tremendous force (10x that of asteroids)
    3. It causes the emergence of a new consciousness that reflects on the past with shame and creates more environmentally friendly practices

Couple of key tricks to winning this argument
    1. Inevitability – it’s blocked out – if you win this argument the aff doesn’t really have a unique impact claim and there’s only a risk that war now is better than later
    2. Magnitude outweighs – you will win a larger impact, I guarantee it. KE weapons and warming are sweet impacts and you have great cards on them in this file, if you win magnitude first (extinction outweighs) then you should have no trouble persuading a judge to accept a limited nuke war
    3. Mindset shift – sort of like an alternative to your argument, basically that post-nuclear war people would realize some of the problems of their consumptive habits and act to correct them, ie nuclear war acts as a wake up call to violent practices because people don’t like to realize the horror they have really been capable of

Obvi you need to win nuke war doesn’t cause extinction so included are answers to every single reason why people say it does, and author indicts for those people. There are tons of answers to nuclear winter theory and answers to nuclear war causes climate change, you are prepared to dominate someone on nuclear war now is way better than one later.

Note: there is also an aff 2ac frontline to spark at the bottom of this file, so in getting this file you will also protect yourself from being caught off guard by this same argument
