There's probably something worthwhile here, but I haven't tried any.

Today I actually got some really good full text stuff using Questia. The downside is I'm not sure if you can download them.

Okay, I'm really not sure about the policy on grave-digging here (or if this even counts), but it would actually be really, really helpful if someone could post some updates to this thread. I tried out aaaaaa.org, but it seems like it was taken down, even though I was allowed to register and anyone can still register. This makes me think that the "AAAARG.ORG HAS BEEN TAKEN DOWN" thing is a ruse to get people off their tails if they don't want to accept you.

Anyways, does anyone know of any good Library.nu/Gigapedia replacements? It would really benefit a lot of people to have access to scholarly works like that.

It usually takes a lot of time for a person to write a helpful post, but it only takes a few seconds to rep them.

I got a blog! Check it out.

I've been using aaaaarg.org for a good 5 months or so now with no problems. When I registered, I was given authorization in a day or so.

Well, that's a let down and a bit of good news for me. I registered early last month, and I never got any authorization. I tried to send an email to someone@aaaarg.org, but I'm not sure if it'll do me any good.

Do you know if there's any kind of support address? I really, really want this. Thank you in advance.

I'd suggest you just try registering again. There isn't a support address I don't think either.

This is a list of the sites that actually work from that page (by works, I mean you're able to view the page, not necessarily find a particular book).

http://library.nu/ (a. k. a. Gigapedia, a. k. a. dead)
http://www.freebookspot.es/ (personal favorite; it has a lot of material, but it's still sometimes hard to find particulars)
http://www.ebook30.com/ (I don't think this works)
http://avaxhome.ws/ (another really good one)
http://www.ifilesearch.net/ (last of the good ones)
http://librarypirate...e/?p=home&pid=1 (doesn't work)
