This week has been very busy in politics with all three FTA bills passing. This means that a lot of teams will be looking for a new politics scenario. This weeks Thursday File written by Chris Roberds can help fill the void with a very timely and new scenario find out more about it below.

Currently the President's job bill was just rejected as a package in the Senate. This means that the bill will be broken into pieces that may each pass individually. Extended unemployment insurance is one of those pieces. This DA is highly relevant to the President's economic plan so there is a strong political capital internal link. Additionally the economy impacts are relatively short term and high magnitude helping the DA outweigh space based impacts.
The file also provides important answers to potential China Bashing politics, early elections DAs, and generic answers since many teams may start reading new or unpredictable politics scenarios this weekend.
Chris Roberds is the coach Marshfield. A former debater at Missouri State as a coach he has had teams clear at many regional tournaments, qualify to NDCA, and qualify and clear at NCFL.
