I am happy to announce the plans for this year’s Thursday File. We are making some exciting upgrades to the TF. Additionally, we are bringing back the ability to subscribe to the Thursday File—read all about it below.

A Thursday File Subscription costs $80 - It includes several benefits:
-Access to Thursday Files for only $8
-Access lasts for one calendar year—there is no punishment for buying late in the season.
-The flexibility to buy only the Thursday Files that are relevant to your competition schedule
-Don’t need 10 Thursday Files? Use your remaining credit on any file on the site.


The Thursday File will still bring you new DA’s ripped from the latest headlines, but it now also includes one scenario that we ‘track’ for the whole semester. That means there will be one scenario you can continuously read and we will constantly update. All of the previous evidence that has been produced for that scenario will be turned out each week so you will never miss anything.

Cross-x.com is now soliciting authors for the Thursday File, our weekly politics file, for the 2011-2012 season. The first Thursday File will be released September 15th 2011, and you can choose any Thursday between that date and the end of April. This season Cross-x will begin a new campaign to attract even more users, and as always we take care of all promotion and administration, you just cut the file. Additionally, the Thursday File this year will contain one scenario that is continuous throughout the semester. Each author will get all the previous evidence for that scenario and simply have to add a small update to this component. If you are interested, just PM me describing your debate background and dates you are available.
